I’m Kelsey, the photographer behind Kelsey Bellows Photography. I’m based in Central Minnesota and photograph weddings, families, newborns, maternity, and seniors in the St. Cloud area and beyond. I’m introverted and extroverted, and I tend to just go with the flow. Art in all forms has always been a huge part of who I am, and being creative is what makes me happiest. I also love nature and feel most at home outdoors with my family. I’ve always been fascinated by people, culture, and observation, which shapes so much of how I photograph and connect with others. Aside from photography, my biggest passion is my kids, along with learning more about childhood development and psychology.

My love for photography began in 2011, when I got my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax. Learning on film taught me to slow down and look more closely. It made me fall in love with the art of noticing. The light, the feeling, the quiet in between moments, all of it started to matter in a deeper way.
That beginning still shapes the way I photograph today. As a Central Minnesota photographer, I’m drawn to images that feel honest, emotive, and a little nostalgic. I love documenting people in a way that feels both artful and true, whether it’s a wedding day, a growing family, a newborn season, or senior portraits. My goal is always to create photographs that feel like a memory you can step back into.

My approach to photography is rooted in connection, emotion, and the little in between moments that often end up meaning the most. I want your session or wedding day to feel natural and easy, not overly posed or forced. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but I also leave room for real moments to unfold on their own.
I’m drawn to the kind of images that feel honest, warm, and full of life. The way your child reaches for your hand, the quiet excitement before you walk down the aisle, the movement, the light, the feeling of being fully in a moment. My goal is to create photographs that not only look beautiful, but feel like you.

Anyone who knows me knows, my absolute biggest passion in life is my kids. I love experiencing life through their perspective, while also watching them learn, grow, and adventure. My intention in life is to truly see the good in each moment (even in the toughest ones), and spread kindness, and teach my kids to do the same.
I believe we are immensely lucky to be here on this planet, hurdling through space! To be human is amazing, but to be human isn't always easy. I believe we all need to try to understand, appreciate, and support each other. I'm here to be a friend to anyone, there's always room at my table!
