To me, photography is more than just snapping a posed photo. I strive to capture moments that reflect real emotion, a way of looking back and not only remembering how a particular moment looked, but also how it felt. Life is a constant adventure and I'm here to experience and capture the best of it.
When you think about your future wedding day, and what your photos might look like, your mind might flash to the big moments, like walking down the aisle, the first kiss, first dance, etc. Of course those are epic moments and make for epic photos! But it's the unexpected moments captured that will melt your heart, and will take you back to how the day felt.
Yes, of course I shoot digitally, but thanks to a wonderful photography teacher Mr. Noreen, back in 2011, I was able to learn photography by shooting on film, and developing photos myself in a dark room. This is something that has always stuck in my head, and influences my style to this day, as I shoot with an "in the moment" type vibe, similar to the mindset with shooting film.
Photography is one of my biggest passions. To capture the moments that will be remembered for a lifetime is such an honor, and literally brings infinite amounts of joy to my life. Yes, this is my job, but honestly, you couldn't pry this camera out of my hands if you tried! I love it. This is my creative outlet in life. I get excited just thinking about it!
